About Integrated Pest Management

How does integrated pest management work? The goal is to eliminate factor(s), such as food sources and harborage areas, that are favorable for the identified pest to survive and thrive. Identification of an action threshold and ongoing monitoring to keep the population below that level is important.

Practices include education, communication, exclusion/structural repairs, non-pesticide strategies, and limited pesticide use when needed.

Our Customer Service Commitment

We value our relationship with our customers and treat each one with courtesy and respect. We understand that when you call with a problem, it is often of an urgent nature and our availability and response time reflect that. We make every effort to schedule urgent calls within 24-48 hours. All other visits are scheduled at our customer's convenience. We welcome texts and emails also.

We are readily available to answer questions and address concerns!

Our Pest Management Commitment

Downes Pest is committed to participation in continuing education beyond the minimum state requirement. When choosing a pest control strategy for a property, we carefully consider many factors including the presence of children, pets, flowering plants, fruit & vegetable gardens, water sources, and honeybees. We educate our customers to ensure accurate expectations of the treatment and its course. We also focus on prevention and will provide recommendations to eliminate environments that are pest friendly.
